GIPHY's own API on https://api.giphy.com, Grindr's official Android app key is zf7gBZ531pHaTJN3ne0jDdAepsNreB2X. A GIF from it is sent as a GiphyBody.

Get trending GIFs

GIPHY's current trending GIFs. Send one with a GiphyBody.

Query:

• api_key — string, GIPHY API key
• limit — integer, number of GIFs, default 25, at most 50 for a beta key, optional
• rating — string, highest content rating to include: g, pg, pg-13 or r; every rating when omitted, optional

Search GIFs

Searches GIPHY. Page through results with offset, see pagination in the response. Send a result with a GiphyBody.

• size — string, size of url in bytes as a decimal number, optional
• mp4 — string, URL of an MP4 version, optional
• mp4_size — string, size of mp4 in bytes as a decimal number, optional
• webp — string, URL of an animated WebP version, optional
• webp_size — string, size of webp in bytes as a decimal number, optional
• frames — string, number of frames as a decimal number, only on original, optional
